There are plenty of reasons you may want to terminate your lease early - life changes, we understand. However, before you decide to terminate your lease, you should be aware of the costs associated with a lease break:
Lease Break Fee - The Lease Break fee is equivalent to one month’s rent and will be automatically added to your account to be paid immediately. Your Lease Break fee represents your commitment to vacating the property and your lease will be considered active until we have received the funds.
Early Termination Marketing Fees - When a lease is terminated early there are marketing and placement costs associated with finding a new tenant, and you will be responsible for paying any costs incurred. We are always willing to work with you to keep these additional costs as low as possible.
Utilities and Rent - Until a new tenant is found you will remain responsible for rent and utilities for the unit.
If you still wish to proceed with breaking the lease you can submit a request through your tenant portal.
